Show Us Your ‘Stache
This past Saturday night was a redo of sorts only much more fun and allowing everyone to display their creativity. Halloween came a few weeks early as we were given the chance to display various types of mustaches. The stick on type, a balloon ‘stache, and finger/tattoo mustaches. Handlebar, toothbrush, devilish, and almost any type imaginable came out. Of course some of us already had ready made facial hair. Personally, I find a chance to show each other’s originality a fun and enlightening way to get together and learn something new about all of our band of disciples.
“For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgement, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.” (Romans 12:3-8)
Along with the mustaches, we celebrated the birthday of the twins Ava and Parker. They brought along a frisbee and before the gathering got into full swing I tossed it with them. Happy Birthday!
And FINALLY thanks to Lowell, we were able to once again get a big group photo complete with a hug(?) from someone
